Stephanie Jane reviewed Note Worthy by Dhasi Mwale
Fast paced romance
3 stars
Although I'm don't often pick up romance novels, I decided to give Note Worthy a try because I had already enjoyed another Love Africa Press book, Betting On Love by Kani Sey. Note Worthy is a charming romance in which Katenekwa's quiet and well-ordered life - she's an event planner after all - is thrown into chaos by the unexpected reappearance of her now-deceased brother's best friend, Wezi. Talented musician Wezi is everything that Katenekwa's current boyfriend Josiah is not and she finds herself increasingly unable to resist her emotions. Note Worthy is a quick read - I devoured it in an afternoon - so there isn't a great deal of space given over to character development arcs, however I enjoyed spending time in Lusaka with Katenekwa and was rooting for her to resolve her crisis. In common with our heroine though, I couldn't decide which of the two men …

In common with our heroine though, I couldn't decide which of the two men was the better long-term option! I did feel that the story could have branched out further from the triangle predicament to give us readers deeper insights into the main characters lives and motivations. The entire upheaval taking place over just six days did seem unfeasibly fast, but that didn't make Note Worthy any less of an entertaining read.
