Wyrm Theyfriend finished reading Rats in the Walls by H. P. Lovecraft
I thought I went into this prepared for Lovecraft's racism, but (maybe I picked an especially bad piece to start with?) even so it was so explicit, pervasive, and all-encompassing that there wasn't much left to the story without it.
This was a Hoopla Bonus Borrow audiobook the exact length I needed for while doing laundry, so I figured I'd finally give Lovecraft a chance, but I'm probably good to not read any more after this one.
