I actually started this way earlier I think, but it was worth leaving and coming back to a few times!

Hi! I'm one of the admins here, and I like to read all sorts of things! Non-fiction graphic novels are my favorite, but I also like YA SFF quite a bit, and enjoy exploring other things besides.

I really hope we circle back around to how Chang'er feels about this relationship, or Dallas in general. That conflict was hinted at during the auction but I feel like we've kinda glossed over it ever since.

Wyrm Theyfriend wants to read Slave Testimony by John W. Blassingame
Tricia Hersey referenced this in _Rest is Resistance _ as an inspiration for the Nap Ministry. It's definitely not one to read through quickly, but once I get a few more of my long-term reads wrapped I might start this to read over the course of a year or two.

I .. might end up bailing early on this? I'm not a huge attachment theory person, but I'd hoped the framing would help me with it here. So far, it's a little too reminiscent of a sci-fi dystopia book I read last year, and I might need to set it aside for a while. I'll just slow down a bit and give it a few days, but if I'm still not into it by the end of the week I may just call this experiment.

Seriously, though, I've just finished part two of this and found it a very valuable reference I expect to come back to. I've also had some realizations about how I relate to ordeal and similar experiences, and I'm interested to see what comes of further exploring those!
