I don't actually know when I read this one except that it was Julyish; I zoomed straight into the sequel and loved it as a set, but this book didn't stand alone as well as I'd hoped.

Wild to get a musical episode in a horror erotica series, but I really enjoyed the style divergence. It was also such a fun way to reinforce the main parties' roles in the central conflict, and really helped the metaplot start coming together for me!

Some of the read dates I've put on books in this series are a little fake because I forgot to log them contemporaneously, but this one is the fakest.

I have no idea when I read this but it was SO good I remember many details and am one thousand percent sure I did read it, likely at around the right spot in the sequence. (I did read two in the wrong order because I'd accidentally skipped one, but I fixed it right after!)

This is much more of a workbook than the title implies; even with the note in the description that "Each chapter ends with guided meditations and exercises" I really hadn't anticipated the percentage of the book they would comprise. It's not bad that there's so much interactive content here, but it's certainly slowing me down because it drastically decreases the number of times/places I can make progress through the book.

This isn't working for me as an audiobook because of how long the chapters are and how important every word is, so I'm going to pause here and circle back with a written-down copy

I didn't like this one as much as most of the others in this universe, because I found these takes on the characters much less sympathetic. I loved the ending, though, and I think it made the rest worth it. I'm very glad I read it but probably won't repeat.
