I really can't decide how I feel about this one... many of the individual comics are very cute but the order is a bit chaotic, the book doesn't flow, and at times they seem pretentious when collated and read together. I don't think I want to dnf but I might need to read it in smaller chunks than I have been?

The actual comic part of this was incredible, but the amount of un-illustrated historical material at the end really feels like two different books have been put into a single publication. I think I would've liked both very much if published separately, but picking up a comic and getting a 19th century primary source document makes it feel like a bit of a slog at the end.

A huge part of why this is taking me so long is that I hate the narration. Name pronounciation in particular has been excruciating. The actual content of the book has been excellent, though, and I still intend to finish this year.

Absolute Nerd Bait; Loved It

Wild to get a musical episode in a horror erotica series, but I really enjoyed the style divergence. It was also such a fun way to reinforce the main parties' roles in the central conflict, and really helped the metaplot start coming together for me!
