I was so close to fewer than thirty books in progress for like twelve whole hours, but no regrets

I'd have started reading this sooner but I didn't realize that you don't automatically get a hold when the library approves a purchase request. It's so much fun, though, and I definitely don't regret reading it now ✨

This continues to be excellent, but I move slowly through anthologies to begin with and this one is particularly heavy.

I am SO FAR into this and still can't tell if I like it or not.

I'm currently making it through like 1% of this per day because I've been falling asleep sooner than usual, but I definitely expect to finish this weekend.

This has gotten so sad after a surprisingly-upbeat start. Just a couple chapters left, though!

A book about hot dogs! I don't really like hot dogs, but I do love hyperspecific nonfiction (shoutout to The Week once again). It's probably for the best that I'm not into hot dogs going into this!

@phildini I do! It was adorable! I tend to be way faster reading fiction than nonfiction in general, too, though, because I'm less prone to falling down a Wikipedia hole every three pages 😅

Slower fiction progress is usually my right-before-sleep book, which I often read only a page or two of per night.
