This was cute, but the reading/grade level felt inconsistent and the messaging hewed a little too closely to the car lobby's party line.

This was one of those books that just swept me along until suddenly several hours had passed, the book was over, and I realized all at once that I was hungry, thirsty, and needed the bathroom. Take your bio break first and have snacks nearby, because the stories are braided together so smoothly there was nowhere to stop until the end. A beautiful whirlwind.

I started this over again in late August, so this isn't the furthest point in I've read, but I lost track of where I was before that.

I might circle back to this later but I really stopped enjoying it around the 40% mark.

I'm going to try to prioritize this one in January after another rec from a friend!

I'm reading this with a group, so it's a little slower going, but it is taking SO much willpower to not just fly through it.

I was really hoping this would have a review of some fundamentals with useful exercises to help me reidentify my current work-related values as I look for my next job. Unfortunately, the exercises aren't super novel, it is more anecdote than fundamentals, and they've skipped over so many critical aspects of business in the interest of painting a rosy picture that I'm going to DNF at 37%
