This book seems to be targeting children who haven't been to the library yet and are getting ready to go for the first time, but the vocabulary targets a more experienced reader than ideal for a first library visit. If a child has made it to early grades without going to the library, this would be great.
This was brilliant, and I definitely feel like I want to read it at least once more again. It was also very fun to recognize local places (most of the time,...recognizing the internment camp as the name/location of a shopping mall now was not fun).
